Button love……

I was browsing the net a few days ago and I saw a picture which sparked a childhood memory. The picture was of a length of wool threaded with buttons.

So simple yet sparked lovely memories of being a child and visiting my grandma who had a big box of buttons which my sister and I would spend hours picking through and stringing wool to make pretty garlands! Such simple times! It got me thinking about how many pretty things I’ve seen made with buttons…….
